How to clean lamps and lampshades?

How to clean lamps and lampshades? When cleaning the room, most people tend to neglect the cleaning of the lamps, and some even do not clean the lamps for several years, which will not only make the lamps in the house not turn on, but also affect the health due to the accumulation of too much dust.

Except for the more messy ones, the lamps and lampshades of ordinary families can be completely sorted out by themselves. Pour the diluted dishwashing liquid on the rag, and two people can work together to wipe the dust off the lamps.

When cleaning the lampshade, the lampshade of different materials can be arranged in different ways.

1. Cloth lampshade: You can use a small vacuum cleaner to suck away the surface dust, then pour some detergent or furniture-specific detergent on the rag, and replace the position of the rag while wiping. If the inside of the lampshade is made of paper materials, avoid using detergent directly to prevent damage.

2. Frosted glass lampshade: Use a soft cloth suitable for cleaning glass, and wipe carefully; or wipe with a soft cloth dipped in toothpaste, and use a soft cloth to wrap chopsticks or toothpicks for uneven areas.

3. Resin lampshade: It can be cleaned with chemical fiber duster or special duster. After cleaning, anti-static spray should be sprayed, because the resin material is prone to static electricity.

4. Pleated lampshade: Use a cotton swab dipped in water to wipe it patiently little by little. If it is particularly dirty, neutral detergent can be used.

5. Crystal beaded lampshade: The workmanship is detailed and exquisite, and it is very troublesome to clean. If the lampshade is made of crystal beads and metal, it can be cleaned directly with neutral detergent. After cleaning, wipe off the water on the surface and let it dry naturally. If the crystal beads are worn with thread, it is best not to get the thread wet, but wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent. For the dirt on the metal lamp holder, first wipe off the surface dust, and then squeeze a little toothpaste on the cotton cloth to wipe it.

It should be noted that you'd better choose to tidy up in the morning, so that after a day's drying, the lamps and lampshades are completely dry at night, which can prevent short circuits due to moisture.
